In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly (LBFE) hosted a party for elders at its headquarters near Mt. Airy Forest. Violinists Evin Blomberg, Lucas Braga, and Julia Poetain performed a program of violin trios, and joined the festivities afterwards to connect with the elders. 

We believe music is a powerful force that can bring people together, and it was a joy to share music with the elders at the LBFE Valentine’s Day party. LBFE is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly. Many of LBFE’s elders rely on help from the organization for transportation, social opportunities, and support for emotional and physical needs. Thank you to Ja’Lah Willingham, Executive Director of LBFE, for helping us make this collaboration possible!
